AWWWWW! So cute! Did you try this one in B&W if you hate the colour so much? I still think it works. Especially as it makes the captivity more visible. Which kind of makes it sadder.

Well hiding the captivity isnt an issue, i would never lie about that.. this is all apart of my on going ape project, maybe the intention is so portray it as sad, when we visit chester i'll probably ramble on and on about my project with the apes so you'll know what i'm getting at :P

It's gonna be in b+w in the book that I was talking to you about earlier on for my exhibition.

That's very nice work very well captured I love Gorillas a whole lot and this infant will make a great addition to a very endangered species. :heart::peace:

That's why I said "Especially as it makes the captivity more visible". I knew you wouldn't hide it. this isn't just a cute pic of a baby gorilla. It's a comment on our interaction with the natural world and how we exploit it, either for territory or entertainment. And now we've taken so much territory, the zoo's position is that they must now be bread in captivity or be lost forever.

Is that the kind of rambling you had in mind? Bring it on!!!

I shall look forward to receiving my signed copy :D
